Crude-print 1920s

Like a wired sniffer dog rummaging through your belongings looking for that fix, I found a use for photoshop's Stamp filter which I applied to my scanned line drawing, then some more tweeks produced a close enough equivalent of the style I was hoping for. Objective achieved!

You know what its like sometimes, you see something that catches the eye and just want to try sucking the marrow out of photoshop. This something was a book by Monte Beauchamp, it was the dog's cojones of VINTAGE MATCH-BOOK COVER ART of the 1920's to the 50's. A period when effective viral advertising meshed with crude printing.
